In Ben Franklin’s autobiography he stated that he wished to live without committing any fault at any time. By following each of his morals any person may achieve that. His morals go beyond just right and wrong or committing any sin. They include how to maintain your weight and good health and to keep yourself and surroundings clean, presenting yourself well and in a positive way. His morals also form a mold to become the best person possible. These morals set guidelines as to how to perfect yourself. By following these morals, you can make no enemies or harsh feelings among others. The only negative thing that could be possible is for others to feel jealousy towards you because they envy you.

There are many quotes that I am very fond of and try to live my life by. In my opinion, the best quote to live your life by is “If you don’t like something, change it. If you can’t change it, change your attitude. Don’t complain.” — Maya Angelou. Often I find myself, along with most of the people around me, complaining about nonsense. If you don’t like something and it is really that important to you, than you should be able to find a way to change it. But if you don’t care enough, it obviously isn’t very important to you. Therefore, it is insignificant and you should not be complaining about it, so change your attitude.

I want many things out of life. I want to go to college. Before I can do this, I must figure out what I want to do in life. I would like to find a career that I enjoy and is high paying. I do not want to have too much money, I would just like to be able to live comfortably but not barely being able to get by and pay the bills. Once I have found a secure job, I want to get married. I plan to find a career that I like in the next few months. To do this, I will take career compatibility quizzes. Looking over my results, I will look to see which careers are of interest to me then research them. After much research, I will choose which one fits me best. Next I will research colleges in the area that offer programs for this field because I would like to live at home and commute to class everyday in order to save money on housing. I will study hard and put in a tremendous amount of effort to excel in my classes. Hopefully when I then apply for internships this will allow me to be the best qualified compared to other applicants. If I get a good internship, it will provide me with good references to find a job once I have graduated from college. I understand that it is almost impossible to get every single thing you want in life. If I can not get the ideal job, then i will settle for less and work my way up to the top so that I can be where I want to. If I can not find the perfect man to marry as soon as I would like, then I will just wait until the time is right and I eventually will. I tend to find happiness in the small things in life. I believe this to be a good quality to possess because it keeps me happy and positive no matter what. One thing I would like to improve about myself is to get better grades. The first step towards achieving this would be to take better notes. I will start asking more questions in class if I do not fully understand something. If I still do not understand something, I will ask a teacher if there is a time that I could go over the information with him/her to get a better understanding. Also, I should begin studying more often and on a daily basis. When given an assignment I should do it immediately rather than procrastinating. By doing these things, I will be able to better myself and achieve my goal.

I care very much about those who are close to me. I would be willing to do anything for friends and family at any time. Always, I put others before myself. Although some may say this is a good quality to possess, it is not always beneficial to myself. This is because I spend so much time trying to please others, that I don’t always have enough time to do the things that I need to accomplish for myself. But no matter what, I will always help out a friend or family member, making whatever sacrifice that is needed.

I believe that everything happens for a reason. Everyday is a challenge and you must make the best of it. Friends and family are more important than material objects. Take every opportunity you get. The bigger the risk, the greater the reward. If my house were ever to burn down or I lost something very important to me, I would first be in denial, thinking that this could never happen to me. Once I came to the realization that this really happened to me, I would be very upset and in mourning. After this, the only thing left to do, is to move on to bigger and better. The most important thing in life is to find happiness in everything you do.

There are many traits that I consider to be important to a relationship. I also think that these traits must be present in both partners in the relationship. You must be honest. Two people must have complete and total trust in each other in order to be completely comfortable and confident in a relationship. Kindness is key. No one wants to date a person who does not treat them with respect and kindness. Don’t spend every waking moment of your lives together. Spending time apart makes you appreciate the time that you do have together rather than taking it for granted. After spending time apart, it increases the level of happiness and excitement to see each other. Relationships are not a one way street, they are two sided in which both people need to make an effort to maintain a healthy relationship. Although it may not always last, you will still have memories that will last a lifetime.
